Things that are possible because of high strength

UHMWPE is a high-strength fiber also known by names such as Dyneema®. Due to its high strength and resistance to ultraviolet rays, it is far more resistant to breakage than common polyester twine or commercially available string, for example, when joining lead ropes during halyard replacement, thus reducing the risk of the lead rope coming loose during replacement work.

Precautions for use

This product is made of extremely fine, high-strength fibers. If it comes into contact with your body while taut, the thin threads may dig in and cause injury. UHMWPE is not suitable for heat treatment of the ends, so we recommend finishing by sewing or tying. Also, since it is a very slippery fiber, it is recommended to leave a slight "tail" at the end.
