A Lighter Thimble Alternative that really protects the Rope
ROBSHIP Closed Thimbles are designed and produced to protect the ropes from abrasion. It is ideal for splitting one line into 2 or more lines, and perfect for lazy jacks or other places where you want to split from 1 line into several.
NOTE: This Closed Thimble is not advised to use for replacement of a High Load Eye and other similar applications where the line runs thru the thimble. It is for static, or near static applications only.

Comparison to Stainless Rings for Lazy Jacks and Other Similar Applications

- LIGHTER : Only 7 grams when compared to 15.2 grams for a 25 x 5mm stainless ring
- PROTECTION : The primary rope is completely inside the thimble and protected.
- BEND DIAMETER : Rope are weaker when sharply bent. Not the bend diameter size as compared to the stainless ring
- SAFETY : If this was flying around in the wind and you were hit by it, or it slammed against the mast or boat itself there is no question which is more dangerous/damaging.
