DESIGN & FEATURES
Robship Sails are not only all made in house, but the designs are also done in house.
The designs build on our library of design from Sandy Goodall, one of the most experienced designers ever and are done by Colin Ferrel.
(from Colin) "Sailing offshore REALLY give you the chance to optimize sails and trim.... and see the stress that sails go thru. Sailing thru the doldrums without using an engine also gives a value to every puff and breeze that you need to harness to pass.... I think racers, and offshore sailors see sails differently, but also with the same passion for performance.
Passion for Design combined with new ideas and techniques and respect for the art of traditional sail making... is the core of our sails."
- No matter how well built a sail is, the design where the shape and and materials are optimized.
- All designs are done in Azure Project. . one of the most advanced and accurate design programs available.
So.... what's different? In short the care and passion of a boutique sail maker with the passion to make the very best.
