We have specially chosen ropes only from Robline (Teufelberger) who has over 200 years of history of making ropes. These European manufactured ropes have an excellent reputation with sailors and are well developed with many Olympic class sailors using them and participating in new rope designs. The entire development and manufacturing process of the sheets has been done by Robship. The Race grade is designed to meet high end racer's demands, and the club version is lower cost and in some cases easier on hands for club level sailors.

The combination of Dyneema (high strength and abrasion-resistant) and Technora (heat- and abrasion-resistant) on the cover makes the rope run smoothly on the eyes/blocks and is extremely durable. For the core, we use hydrophobic polypropylene, which has excellent grippiness and enables precise jib trim. This rope, packed with indispensable elements a racer needs, has been used by the Australian national team as well, and is a true gem of ROBSHIP. 

Our splicing uses fully tapered rope ends and are tightened for the smoothest possible tapers. Thanks to this, our Ocean 3000XG ropes run smoothly through your eyes/blocks. The Dyneema tail is extended inside the double braid rope for the main loaded length to reduce stretch for more accurate trimming.

We recommend our soft shackles (2.5mm x 40mm) to secure the tails to the clew ring on your sail.
