High strength & low stretch halyard:
Dyneema line with eye splice
Robline’s Globe 5000 double braid Dyneema line is used for the ropes. The tip cover is partially removed and the core is eye spliced. You can install your own shackles, without having to buy new ones, so it’s cost-efficient. No need to re-splice it when the shackle needs to be replaced.
Lightweight, durable, and easy to maintain!
The end of the halyard is usually eye spliced to install the shackle. The spliced part of the rope will have twice as many fibers, making it thicker, stiffer, and heavier. This is an unavoidable fatal flaw with normal manufacturing methods. However, this product overcomes this problem by looping the tip of the Dyneema core, adding a lot of advantages. Weather-resistant, low stretch and high strength Dyneema is still durable even after being made thin. Dyneema is also 20% lighter than polyester. Because of this, the weight of the mast top is greatly reduced.
Most shackles installable on the big loop on the tip
The shackle can be quickly attached and detached by securing it with a cow hitch. The shackle can be easily cow-hitched by threading it through the loop. You won’t have to pass the entire length of the line through the loop. The loop at the end of this product is quite big, making it very easy to replace the shackle.
Lead loop on the cockpit side
When replacing the halyard, you’ll be able to pass the new halyard into the mast by sewing a new halyard onto the old halyard and pulling the new halyard in with the old halyard. This product has a small loop at the end of the rope made of durable Dyneema thread. Tying this on the end of the old halyard allows you to replace halyards without any hassle.

Recommended rope sizes
The following is an excerpt from Robline's catalog. Before reading it, please check the rope size that is compatible with your fittings. If the ropes are too thick for the rope clutches, blocks or masthead sheave box, it can cause problems such as the sail hoist becoming extremely heavy. By using the Dyneema line, you’ll be able to reduce the rope size by one rank. The friction with the rigging will be reduced, making operation easier. Please note that the following values fluctuate depending on weather conditions and other factors.
