We had been expecting that there would be a community lockdown in a similar fashion to Manilla in the communities around our factory, and after seeing how difficult it has been for workers there, thought it a good chance to set up staff with a food kit good before and potential Covid 19 Lockdown.
Each employee received the following last March 16-17, 2020:
- 50kg of Rice,
- 2kg Brown Sugar,
- 2kg Salt,
- 14 pieces Noodles,
- 12 cans of Beef Loaf,
- 12 cans of Sardines,
- 12 cans of Tuna,
- 12 cans of Corned Beef
The week before masks were given to each employee for their personal and family use. This is in addition to the masks supplied in factory which were required to be used by all staff in March.
